Since she was very young, Yasmina performed on stage and featured on BBC, UTV, RTE, TG4, TV3 and in many films. She has displayed Raqs Sharqi all over Ireland and has toured with U2 on the Zooropa tour in 1993 (above), performing live for the hit "She Moves in Mysterious Ways" in France and Germany. She has danced for the legendary Greek singer Demis Roussos in London's famous Albert Hall. She has also performed with bands: Kila and The Pale, and also starred in the video of the Turkish pop singer Hakan Peker, in a number one hit which remained in the charts for months.

Yasmina started studying Bellydance seriously while travelling in Egypt, Morocco, London, Tunisia, India and Turkey where she resided for a time. There in Istanbul she learned the whirling philosophy with a group of mystic Dervish.

Based in Ireland, Yasmina established her own academy and dance company in 1994 with the purpose of elevating the art of Bellydance to the same degree of respect as other established dance forms. She achieved this by teaching Eastern dance in its authentic form. This resulted in various performances in theatres nationwide incorporating Flamenco, Brazilian and Indian dance.

Yasmina teaches regular classes in Dublin, from tradition folkloric to modern Egyptian dance for women of all ages and levels. Yasmina is a qualified gym instructor and is also trained to teach others to become teachers in all forms of Eastern dance.
